The Hotel was fantastic value for money, excellent Breakfast to start your day, fantastic location to see the whole of Edinburgh. Room was beautiful and well laid out, only slight problem was our room had Internet but not wi-fi (I had to use reception or bar with iPad). Staff were all pleasant and helpful.

Possibly the worst hotel breakfast I have ever experienced - cold bad coffee, cold toast, undercooked eggs, "unfried" potato scones, etc. Replacements :- coffee lukewarm, toast cold. Bedroom ok but bathroom otherwise. Loose toilet seat, no towel hook/rail next basin, insecure shower head (fell down while showering), no grabrail for exiting bath, impractical shaving mirror and no shaving lighting, generally poorly designed layout of bathroom.

Very central, excellent staff, most helpful. Good standsard of room - food excellent especially breakfasts Parking outside door but very costly and restricted in time, best to use multistorey cental parking area about 10 mins walk which attracts a 15% discount from hotel Alltogether an excellent hotel and attractive pricing deal.

i have stayed in lots of 4@5 star hotels in the city, in my oppinion this is up there with the best, its location on the top of george street is perfect for a nite on the town. you are spoilt for choice in pubs, clubs @resteraunts. the hotel itself is spotless and the staff are super friendlly. when checking in ask for a room on the side of the complex as their is noise at the back due to bins being emptied in the wee hours.
